Debating whether to drive or fly in the morning of, or stay the night before. Is it worth the extra hotel cost?

Most repeat cruisers say yes. Staying over turns cruise morning into a short, low-stress transfer and takes Causeway traffic out of the equation. Some hotels bundle park-and-cruise packages as well. See park and cruise hotels. If you fly in the same day instead, leave real buffer.

Worth it for us. We make a small trip of it: dinner on the Strand, a walk on the Seawall, then cruise relaxed the next day.
